Seventh-day Adventists are a vibrant, global Christian denomination of over 23 million members who share a passion for Jesus Christ, a commitment to serving others, and a hope in Christ’s promised return.

Mission and Strategy
Our Mission: To reach North America and the world with the distinctive, Christ-centered, Seventh-day Adventist message of hope and wholeness.
Our History
The Seventh-day Adventist Church emerged from an 1840s religious revival movement when a New England based group rediscovered the biblical seventh-day Sabbath teaching. The new denomination’s name combined “Seventh-day” to emphasize their Saturday Sabbath observance and “Adventist” for their belief in Christ’s soon second coming.
